Everyone Can Cycle at Bush Hill Park

Proving that cycling can be healthy fun for everyone Enfield Council’s new Inclusive Cycling scheme at Bush Hill Park is opened Tuesday 17 June.

There were plenty of adapted cycles are to suit a variety of different needs and many accommodated two riders as well as wheel chair users.

The bikes can all be pedalled safely on a TFL funded, level cycle track through Bush Hill Park.

Cllr Chris Bond, Enfield Council’s Cabinet member for Environment, said, “We are launched this new service so that people with a physical disability, mobility problem or learning difficulty can enjoy a beautiful park and some new found independence this summer.

“They will be able to try out different models, order tramadol cod share bikes with friends or carers and have some fun and exercise in the fresh air. We have purchased cycles to meet almost every need with council funding; and thanks must go to the Friends of Bush Hill Park for their support.”

Booking is essential; please call 020 8379 2445. The scheme is free and everyone is invited. All disabilities are catered for and it is run by Enfield’s Independence and Well Being service.

The scheme was set up with help from charity Wheels for Wellbeing which has provided advice, support, and training of community workers to run sessions. Wheels for Wellbeing also organised supply of the specialist bikes and trikes.
