Youth Travel Ambassadors Dragon’s Den
The Youth Travel Ambassadors (YTA) programme provides an opportunity to young people in Enfield’s schools aged 11 to 19 to address transport issues affecting their school community.
On 12th March 2019, six schools in the Borough (Keble Prep, St Ignatius College , Enfield County , Edmonton County , St Anne’s School , Kingsmead School) were invited along to a Campaign Junction Event, a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style event in which students have the opportunity to pitch for funding to support their campaign ideas. All six schools received £250 to help them deliver their campaigns which will increase safety and active travel for their school community.
