I cycle from Roydon to Mollison Avenue, Enfield, 20 miles each way.
I have been cycling since I was three and I have never stopped. I love it! I love that feeling of freedom. I don’t go by thirty miles per hour, I pootle along about ten – twelve miles an hour. I love the fresh air!
It’s important to remember that the Netherlands were not always geared up for cycling. It’s only because the public started demanding that something needed to happen about congestion that changes were made. Its going to have to happen in this country too. We have great facilities at Kelvin Hughes and we’re gradually inspiring other members of the team to join us!

I do a lot of touring with my family, we take our camping gear on our bikes and we’re off for two weeks. Sometimes we go over to the continent or stay in this country.
I have seen a vast difference between what is good for cyclists and what is bad and I’m not talking about the guys in Lycra speeding along through London but families also. I take my grandchildren out and we have great fun.
