Richard Gourlay- North Middlesex University Hospital

“ I cycle to work because it is cheaper than a vehicle and its quicker than any other form of transport. ”

Richard Gourlay- Director of Strategic Development

I cycle from Alexandra Palace to the hospital. It takes me an average of 13 minutes but sometimes I’ll take a longer route which is 25 minutes.

I cycle to work because it is cheaper than a vehicle and its quicker than any other form of transport. It keeps me fit and is a good way of feeling “alive” when getting to work and “unwinding” on the way home.

“ We have too many cars. We are all not fit enough, cycling needs to be made safer, and the world needs to be greener. ”

There needs to be more space for cycling to encourage people to take up commuting and also weekend cycling.
